PAVE Announces New Board of Directors

The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) Board of Directors elected four new officers and four new directors at its annual meeting March 27 during GlobalShop in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"We're so excited to welcome these new industry leaders to the PAVE Board of Directors," said Harry Cunningham, PAVE President and Head of Store Development at Vera Bradley. "The new directors joining us come from a variety of disciplines across the retail design industry and further help PAVE achieve its goal of truly being a global supporter of the future of our industry."

Newly elected officers serving a two-year term are:
Vice President, Events: Lena Lim, B+N Industries
Vice President, Education: Anne Kong, FIT
Vice President, Fundraising: Cindi Kato, CallisonRTKL
Treasurer: Jeffrey Hutchison, Jeffrey Hutchison & Associates

Newly elected directors serving three-year terms are:
Jennifer Block, Maya Romanoff
Andrew Cooper, Architectural Systems, Inc.
Ignaz Gorischek, CallisonRTKL
Zaiba Mian, Humber College

Founded in 1992, the Planning and Visual Education Partnership's (PAVE) objective is to encourage students to study in the field of retail design and planning and visual merchandising. Additionally, PAVE seeks to encourage retail management, store planners, visual merchandisers, architects, and manufacturers to interact with and support design students. These objectives are accomplished through competitions, projects, seminars, workshops, and grants and scholarships funded by the annual Gala and other fundraising activities. PAVE is a 501(c)(3) educational foundation.
